6 Minute Microwave Eggless Chocolate Cake Recipe

We know, since the time you guys have read the title of this recipe you guys are surprised as we were initially. Until now, the idea of baking a cake in 6 minutes seemed a very unrealistic one. But today over this space, we are delighted to share with you a rich, chocolaty eggless cake recipe which will be ready within 6 minutes, when baked in a microwave.

To bake this cake, we would be making this cake in the heating mode and not in the convection mode of the microwave. You can bake this cake in a microwave safe dish or some silicon baking dish. But one of the cons of baking a cake in the heating mode is that often the cake can lead to dry cakes. In order to fix that you can coat it with some sugar syrup and turn it into a moist cake.Okay, enough talking! Now, let’s just get into the deets of how to bake an eggless chocolate cake in a microwave within 6 minutes. And what all ingredients do we need for the same.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 + ¼ cup superfine sugar
  • 1 cup yogurt ( homemade dahi works)
  • 1+ ½ cup maida
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ cup milk

Let’s Start Baking!

  • Take a bowl and pour oil and sugar in it. Beat this together until it becomes light and pale.
  • Further add yogurt in it and mix well.
  • Now sift some all purpose flour, cocoa powder, a pinch of salt, baking powder, and baking soda in the same bowl.
  • Mix everything together until well combined. Make sure to be gentle and let there be no air bubbles getting accumulated in the batter.
  • Now, add milk in the batter. And mix it all well. Add nuts into the cake batter, if you feel like.
  • Transfer this cake batter into a microwave safe dish, after lining it up with parchment paper.
  • Bake for about 6 minutes. Once done, serve as you may like it!

Things To Note If You Wish To Bake This Cake In Convection Mode

Start by turning your microwave into the convection mode. For that you need to put the oven into preheating mode. Start by pressing the ‘echo/stop’ button, then press the convection button. Press the select button and your microwave will go on preheating mode. Make sure to place the steel wire inside the oven. Set the desired temperature and press the start button.

As soon as the oven is preheated, make sure your cake batter is ready to be baked without much ado. The microwave will be able to retain the heat for about 10 minutes or the earlier you are able to put the cake batter, the better it will be. After you have placed your cake batter inside, put the microwave on the convection mode.

Once the cake is done, take it out from the microwave and let it cool down completely. Make sure not to stop the microwave from the switch board. Let the cake cool down for a while inside the microwave. And when the sound of the microwave stops, it means your cake has cooled down. You can take it out and let it rest for a few minutes and serve it
