The Mojito
This Cuban cocktail has been popular with Americans for decades. The Rum based drink is traditionally served in a high ball glass; however, it can be very refreshing when served in a copper mug on a hot summer day. The drink has many variations, but our favorite is the Mint Mojito.

The Moscow Mule
This drink doesn’t have much to do with Moscow. It was named after the Russian Capital because its main ingredient is Vodka. With lime and ginger beer, the Moscow Mule is an incredibly refreshing drink and a must-have, especially for the 4th of July weekend.
The cocktail is enjoyable when served in an old-school copper mug with a wedge of lime. Since copper is an excellent conductor of temperature, it takes on the temperature of the drink almost instantly, giving a cool sensation to your hands and lips on a warm day.

The Cosmopolitan
This one is a favorite for the ladies. If you don’t like having a cocktail straight out of a mug and would like something a bit more delicate, a Cosmo is a way to go. Made with Vodka, lime, and cranberry juice, this drink is tasty as it is refreshing. It is typically served in a Martini glass with a wedge of lime.

The Mimosa
Another classic drink for the ladies. This one might be the easiest to make on this list. You don’t need to cut fresh lime or buy any herbs. All you need is champagne and orange juice. You don’t even need ice! This one is a favorite for day drinkers at brunch because of how light it is. It is typically served in a champagne glass.

Summer Party Punch
Now to end this list, how about something different? How about a non-alcoholic drink that you might enjoy with the family, young ones and all? We all have at least one friend that doesn’t drink alcohol. Sometimes you may have to serve drinks at a family gathering with your underage nieces and nephews.
