An electronic cigarette or vape with battery control transforms a vaporized or non-nicotine device, helping the user inhale. It aims to offer the same smoke-free experience as cigarette smoke.

Vaping products
Most vapes consist of the following:
- A tubular mouthpiece.
- A heating mechanism.
- A rechargeable battery.
The user triggers a sensor that sprays a flavored liquid solution in the mouthpiece as he clicks the device. Then the user “vapes” or inhales the aerosol solution.
A mouthpiece is a cartouche fixed to the bottom of a vent. The vent is covered by a thin plastic cup with an adhesive layer saturated in a liquid solution. The cartouche can be refilled, and a prefilled cartouche can be replaced, if necessary.
The atomizer is a gas heating and vaporizing device. And the solution may be respirable or inhaled.
The battery (typically rechargeable lithium-ion) powers a heater.
A sensor activates the heater when the user sucks on the device, triggering an LED light.
The solvent is derived from tobacco by removing and combining nicotine, typically propylene glycol, with a base fragrance (known as the e-fluid or e-juice). Propylene glycol for asthma is commonly found in inhalers, for instance. A wide variety of flavors can be selected.
Other flavor varieties are like standard cigarettes, such as nicotine and menthol blends. Some view these flavors as imitations.
